The best way to safeguard against data loss accidents is to back up the data you don’t want to lose. If an accident occurs, you can then use the backup to restore the data you lost. With My Backup Drive you can run backup jobs manually or automatically (based on a schedule). You can use the application to back up data locally or to the web.

To get started with My Backup Drive you must first sign up for an account. You can do so on MyBackupDrive.com. Next up, you must install My Backup Drive on your PC. When you’re done with the installation process, you will be invited to sign into your account and you will be invited to create a backup job. You will get to pick the files you want to back up and you will get to set up a schedule for the backup job.

My Backup Drive features a Wizard and a Classic interface. The Wizard interface features three large tabs in the upper left hand side:
Backup – set up online and local backups; run backup job; open the web portal; log out of your account.
Restore – restore data from an existing backup.
Advanced – switch to Classic view, open the Options menu, and more.

From a functionality point of view, you can expect to get the following from My Backup Drive: manually run backups; run backups based on a schedule; back up data online; back up data locally; select what data will be backed up; restore data from a backup; view backed up data from the web portal; share files from the web portal; advanced security and encryption; and more.

My Backup Drive is not free, it is only free to use. You can use the application for free for a limited period of time.

Let My Backup Drive automatically back up your important files online. Easily restore your files in case a data loss accident occurs.

Pros

Easily create an account; easily install My Backup Drive on your PC; easily create a backup job. My Backup Drive features a Wizard and a Classic interface; both are quite easy to use. Back up data online or locally; easily restore data; set a schedule; share data, and more.

Cons
